The two climbing hydrangeas arrived very well packaged and full of foliage. They were supported by half inch dowels, so much better than the plastic trellis since after they attach to my brick wall I can just pull the sticks out of the ground and not have to risk damaging the stems as I try to cut away a trellis. I am extremely happy with the condition of the plants in my order. They arrived well hydrated and were larger specimens than I expected. So far, all of the plants in my order have handled transplanting well (in spite of doing so during the hottest part of the year). My hydrangea arrived quickly, and in excellent shape. The roots were still damp and the plant was unblemished. We planted it in a shady place and it is putting out new leaves and vines like crazy! I am very happy with all the plants I have ordered from Wilson Bros. They arrive well pakg and protected from heat and travel. All but one of the 4 of these vines was perfect. The 4th was quite dryed out & had lost leaves. I watered and rested for a couple of days then planted, it’s perked up and looks good.———————————————–We are so happy it has recovered from shipping!! I was elated by the size and robustness of my climbing hydrangea when I unboxed it. It was shiny and pure green, perfectly hydrated, and as tall as my belly button. A true one-gallon pot specimen, its roots filled the container without it being the least bit root-bound. Thank you for supplying such a high quality product! I had never heard of a climbing Hydrangea but had been looking for that special vine that would bloom even in a shadier location. It came quickly and 2 weeks later its growing like gang busters. I Have two of these in my own shade gardens…one that has grown over 40 feet up the trunk of a large pecan tree in about 7 years or so and another one on a pergola. This climbing hydrangea came very well packaged; the dirt still moist and the vine was a great deal larger than I expected. Sitting in it’s pot it was nearly 4 feet high and full of leaves that were a beautiful green. I plan on growing it on a chain link fence to help block the view.
